As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will play a crucial role in a newly set up Automation team in TruU.

Together with a distributed team, you’ll work on setting up and running the automation for TruU products from scratch. You’ll participate in selecting technologies and frameworks we will use, set them up, and maintain them. You’ll also contribute to developing automated test cases.

TruU product contains of 5 authentication platforms: Windows (C# desktop development), Mac, Android, iOS, and Platform backend (Java and Python).

For this role, we’re looking for someone who will focus on the Windows and Platform test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cooperate on selecting technologies and frameworks we will use, setting them up, and maintaining them.
  • Design and develop automated tests (Java, Python, or other programming language)
  • Collaborate closely with our Windows and Platform development teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute automated test and test strategies for different stages of the software development lifecycle, analyze results to identify defects, and ensure the quality of the software.
  • Continuously explore and evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance the automation framework.
  • Report and track defects and work closely with the development teams to resolve issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Document test cases, test scripts, and test results to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality software.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of SDET or software developer experience.
      • Active programming in Python, Java or other programming language.
      • Great understanding of the Windows environment (ideally on the system administrator level) - Active Directory, Windows Server 2019 or newer, Entra ID (Azure AD).

      Nice to have

      • Experience working with Identity and Access Management platforms and governance, including single sign-on (SSO), Zero Trust Architecture, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture and design, and resource provisioning (Okta, Azure AD).
      • Experience in integrating AD, AAD, Okta, and GCD source directories.
