Key Responsibilities

  • As a Senior MAC QA Engineer at Truu, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our MAC platform.
  • You will be responsible for building and integrating server infrastructure, creating test plans, analyzing bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement.

You will

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, technical specifications, and work instructions to identify any issues with TruU MAC software before product launch.
  • Perform MAC native application testing for key features such as PIN-based login, Touch ID authentication, and credential provisioning, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Test and validate macOS devices including Active Directory (AD) Join, ensuring proper integration with AD for authentication, user management, and resource access.
  • Ensure the proper implementation and validation of authentication protocols, including Kerberos, Certificate-based Authentication in passwordless scenarios.
  • Identify, analyze, and document bugs found during system, integration, and regression testing, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Develop and execute new tests, document results, and collaborate with software developers to resolve any defects identified.
  • Configure and manage user/group/computer settings in Okta, Google Cloud Directory (GCD), Azure AD, and Active Directory (AD).
  • Write and execute Bash shell scripts to automate testing processes and troubleshoot issues on macOS devices.
  • Participate in technical meetings with other engineering groups to support and implement team initiatives.

        Requirements

        • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in MAC native application testing, with a focus on authentication methods.
        • 2+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms and governance, including SSO, Zero Trust Architecture, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture and design, and resource provisioning (Okta, Azure AD).
        • Extensive experience in integrating with AD, AAD, Okta, or GCD source directories, including device registration and management.
        • Experience with Group Policy (GPO) configurations, MFA, and passwordless login setups in large-scale enterprise environments.
        • Experience with Jamf Pro service
